Score Signal, an AI-powered SAT and ACT tool, launches in partnership with Anchor Digital
Our most ambitious build yet, a college admissions analytics platform with an AI helper we came up with ourselves.

The client and the problem
It started as a conversation with the founder of a test prep company. We'd both been frustrated by the college search, and we knew what public admissions data could show, so we designed a way to match that data to a student's score.
The question students kept running into was simple: should I send my score or not? The answer depends on the school, and the data to answer it was spread across admissions pages that weren't built to be compared.
What we built
Score Signal takes a student's SAT or ACT score and a few other details, runs them through a scoring model we designed, and reports how strong a "signal" the score sends about their chances at each school. A confusing admissions question becomes a clear answer in seconds.
On the live site, Score Signal compares a student's SAT or ACT to each college's enrolled score ranges and test policy, then gives a clear submit, withhold, or retake answer for every school on their list. Students can also look up a single college, read a submission FAQ, and see the data sources behind every recommendation.
We led the full front end (design, layout, and nearly every interactive feature), scoped the backend, and defined what the reports show, then handed the client a finished product ready for launch.
The AI helper woven through the experience wasn't handed to us as a spec. We originated the idea ourselves, designed the concept, and built the interface, then implemented it end to end.
The result
Score Signal launched as a finished product, with the reports, the lookup tools, and the AI helper working together.
What's next
Score Signal is live now, and we're still involved as it grows.
