Website design for nonprofits and education
Program finders, research tools, and websites that help people find what they need.
Anchor Digital builds websites and digital tools for nonprofits that expand access to education. Through the Anchor Nonprofit Initiative, we work with organizations like FairTest, A Better Chance, and the Everyday Legends Foundation on the tools students and families use.
Our founders, Adam and Jackson, are both students of color who attended selective high schools and colleges. They know firsthand how much of getting there comes down to access, which is why this work matters to us.
Best for: Nonprofits and education organizations that expand access to education.
Why we do this work
Opportunity only counts if the right student can find it. A lot of the programs and resources that change students' lives sit in PDFs, spreadsheets, and pages that are hard to search on a phone.
We build the tools that close that gap. For FairTest, that meant a test-optional college list with filters and a chart that shows policy trends at a glance. For A Better Chance, it means a program finder that lives on the site the organization already has.
We design around the students and families using the tool, not the org chart behind it, and we build it so your team can keep it current.
What we build for nonprofits
Research and resource pages
Pages that make dense information clear, like FairTest's test-optional college list, redesigned with filters and a chart that shows policy trends at a glance.
Program finders and search tools
Searchable tools that help students find opportunities, like the college program finder we are building for A Better Chance.
Websites for your mission
Sites that explain what you do, who you serve, and how to get involved, built to load fast on whatever phone a student already has.
Tools your team can keep updating
Built so your staff can add programs and resources as you secure them, without calling us for every change.
Nonprofit work

FairTest
A redesigned test-optional research page for the National Center for Fair & Open Testing, live now.

A Better Chance
A search tool on A Better Chance's website that helps students find college fly-in and discovery programs. In development now.

Everyday Legends Foundation
A site for the Everyday Legends Foundation, a nonprofit that expands scholarship opportunities, reinvests in athletic programs that develop well-rounded leaders, and supports community initiatives.
How it works
Reaching out
A message with your business name and what you're trying to fix. That's all we need to start.
Free consultation
Fifteen to thirty minutes on the phone. We ask what your business does, who you're trying to reach, and what's not working. No cost, no obligation.
Identifying the problem
We figure out the right move (sometimes a full rebuild, sometimes a refresh, sometimes just search work) and tell you what we'd do, even when the answer is less than you expected.
Quote and plan
A written quote and a plain-language breakdown of exactly what we're building and what happens after. You take as long as you need. Questions are free.
Build and support
We build it, launch it, and stay on after: the people you call when something needs to change, not a ticket queue.
Common questions
Mostly organizations that expand access to education, but we're glad to talk with any nonprofit about what it needs.
It is how we choose and support nonprofit work. We look for organizations that expand access to education for students with less access to opportunity, like FairTest, A Better Chance, and the Everyday Legends Foundation, and build the tools they need.
Yes. Our A Better Chance tool lives on the site they already have and matches its look and voice. We'll build into what you have when that's the right call.
Start with a free consultation. Tell us about your organization and what you're trying to fix, and we'll tell you plainly what we would do.
Yes. Some of our nonprofit work is a full site, and some is a single tool inside a site you already have, like the program finder for A Better Chance.
